Offshore Safety and Sea Survival Course (WS OSR 6.01) with BLSD

Beyond being a requirement for those participating in offshore regattas, it is truly an essential experience for anyone who goes to sea. Learning how to manage emergencies, deploy and use life rafts, handle distress flares, and provide first aid (BLSD) can make a real difference in terms of awareness, preparedness, and safety on board.

The Rotaract Cup (3rd Edition) is a charity sailing event taking place on April 11, 2026, at Marina Cala de’ Medici in Rosignano Solvay. Organized by Rotaract District 2071 Tuscany and Yacht Club Cala de’ Medici, the event supports the “Passo Fidato” project, which helps fund Golden Retriever puppies to be trained as guide dogs for the blind. All registration fees will be donated to this cause.

On Friday, January 31, the Assembly of the Sicily & Malta Marina Club of the Rotary Fellowship of Sea Lovers took place.
The event marked an important milestone for the Rotary community dedicated to maritime culture and values.
During the Assembly, the Sicily & Malta Marina Club was officially established.
Vincenzo Autolitano was unanimously appointed as its first Commodore, a decision welcomed with great enthusiasm by the members.
